The Minalungao National Park is now known to be one of the best summer getaway in Central Luzon, Philippines. Minalungao was the LEAL (Natural Defense/Barrier) used by the members of La Solidaridad y Katipuneros de Central Luzon (KKK) during the wars between Filipino-Hispano, Filipino-Americano, Filipino-Briton and also during World War II or the Filipino-Japon war.
Noble Filipinos and revolutionary combatants stayed in Minalungao were the First President of Haring Lupaing Katagalugan, the Great and Noble Andres Bonifacio (from Tondo, Maynila), General Emilio Jacinto (from Sta. Cruz, Laguna), Brigadier General Urbano Lacuna (from Penaranda, Nueva Ecija), Comandant Mamerto Padolina (from Papaya, Nueva Ecija), General Antonio Luna (from Maynila) along with other unsung heroes like La Solidaridad and KKK member Mamay Francisco "Kiko" Dalangin (from Bauan, Batangas).
